I noticed that I had developed a problem focusing on and understanding what others were saying – especially in a noisy environment. This problem caused me to lose confidence. As I was misunderstanding what was said, I expressed my thoughts less and less.
I decided to try auditory training with Diane Daniels at Brain Works. Somehow, I now feel calmer. Background noise is no longer a problem, and my ability to understand conversations has improved. Also, I am able to find the words I want to use to express my thoughts and feelings. My foggy thinking has cleared up, so I can make better decisions. I am more confident socially, more assertive, and I listen at a deeper level, too. I really like the person I have become.
